Season 21: 2024-2025
Northern Ireland

This acid-tongued satire, set in an alternate timeline, finds a united Ireland on the brink of a very important decision — whether or not to leave the United Kingdom. While representatives of the two choices debate on camera, echoing the arguments of the 2016 Brexit referendum, another layer of conflict erupts behind the scenes, as a producer’s family drama spills out onto the national stage. Leave? Remain? Could there be another option?

Co-authored by Michael Patrick and Oisín Kearney, this script was originally produced by Fishamble Theatre as the winner of their “A Play for Ireland” initiative in 2019.
