Come undone with The Walworth Farce. Enda Walsh’s black comedy The Walworth Farce visits the rundown London bedsit of a seemingly exiled father and his two sons. It is a tale told in real time, by turns hilarious and tragic, of the paradigms we create for our lives…and the lengths we go to preserve them. The Walworth Farce premiered March 2006 at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway. The play then opened at the Traverse Theatre as part of the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, winning the Fringe First Award. This is Inis Nua’s second production of work by Enda Walsh, one of Ireland’s most celebrated contemporary playwrights.
